Downtown Johnson City, Texas - In Front of the Courthouse & Surrounding Streets
Gear up for a day of horsepower, history, and Hill Country hospitality! The 5th Annual Gears & Beers Car and Motorcycle Show rolls into Johnson City on Saturday, October 24, 2026 bringing together car enthusiasts from across the region.
Come admire a wide array of vintage, antique, classic, and custom cars, trucks, and motorcycles - all proudly displayed in the heart of our charming downtown. Whether you’re a lifelong gearhead or just love a good-looking ride, there’s something here for everyone.
Don’t miss your chance to connect with fellow enthusiasts and enjoy a full day of fun, local brews, delicious food, and live music - all set in the heart of the Texas Hill Country!

Pre-registration for each entry is $35 plus a free T-shirt and beer token.
Day of show registration is welcome for $45, but limited to available open spaces.
T-shirts can be purchased at the event for $25. Availability and sizes will be limited.

The National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, founded in 1890, is dedicated to promoting historic preservation, education, and patriotism across the United States. Since its founding, more than one million women have discovered purpose and passion through DAR membership.
The Hill Country Chapter, located in Johnson City, was organized on June 3, 2017. As part of this national lineage organization, the chapter actively supports its mission by promoting historic preservation, encouraging education, and fostering patriotism within the local community. The chapter also honors and recognizes outstanding community leaders.
This year, the Johnson City Car and Motorcycle Show is proud to sponsor the local DAR chapter and support its efforts to assist men and women serving abroad. These efforts include meaningful activities such as sending care packages to active-duty service members, as well as members of the National Guard and Reserves, and their families.

We’re again including six (6) dedicated motorcycle categories - so shine up your ride and come show it off!

Only registered / parked vehicles will be judged among the other vehicles in their specific category. A vehicle can only be in one category....

Vinyl Flashback is Central Texas' premier cover band dedicated to performing classic rock tunes from the ‘60’s, ‘70’s and ‘80’s – from bands like The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, ZZ Top, and more. The list of vintage music Vinyl Flashback covers is impressive, and when on stage – whether you’re into anthems or ballads – the performance is always audience pleasing.
Playing from 10 A to 2 P

Participants are not allowed to use any type of tent, chair or structure that will damage the premises of the parking lot or Courthouse grounds - for example stakes are not permitted for anchoring a canopy.
Participants are responsible for keeping their space clean and disposing of all trash in their area during and after the event (trash cans will be provided).
Participants may not use excessive heat, chemicals, marking devices, signs, paint, adhesive, or any other substance or device that could damage the premises.
The premises shall be left in the same or better condition as when you arrived.
While alcohol is allowed on premises, participants are expected to drink responsibly.
The Courthouse is a historical site and requires STRICT adherence for honoring and protecting the grounds around the Courthouse and parking lot area.
